Some advice when buying your gown:
•It’s easy to get overwhelmed.
A tired shopper can be taken advantage of; a tired bride can end up with buyer’s remorse.
•Do I love this dress AND the store selling it?
You’ll be spending time with any shop throughout this process. Do you like the people working there? If you feel rushed or pressured now, it’s likely to continue.
•The price is right. Or is it?
A "special discount,” usually means the original price was inflated. Don’t be wowed by the amount of the discount.
Also, ask about the price of alterations. Some shops will offer you a “deal” on the dress, then make up for it with alterations costs.
